We had another great day! We have gotten all of the beginning of the year stuff out of the way and we will be jumping right into each of our subjects. So far the only homework is to make sure all books are covered by Monday. Cloth covers are available here for $1 each (students have 4 textbooks). There is also a religion book that needs to be covered with contact paper. If you don't have any contact paper at home, please talk to me and I will work it out with the student to make sure it is taken care of.
WOW!!! What a great day! Thank you to my awesome class for being so cooperative and attentive listeners today as we got everything sorted out. I know parts of the day were dull, but everyone's cooperation made the day run very smoothly.
A few reminders: - Hot lunch Thursdays won't begin until September 4th. - If your child has any allergies, we need the correct forms and medications updated in the office. (see e-mail from Mrs. Klein) - Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. There is a lot of information at the beginning of the year and good communication is the best way to help everyone get the year off to a great start! I am so excited to have you in my class!
